Please don't share your business idea with everyone, they may spoil it.

Thanks to "Social Network" movie based on Mark Zuckerberg, inspiring kids from India to create something cool and creative from there dorm room. I also have someone with similar kind of passion and idea in my family. He wants to start something by his own from his dorm room and initially he came up with good idea.

Starting a socially connected job + business partnership classified, where people can find jobs for themselves or join hands with dorm room Entrepreneurs who are working on some good idea which can be great ideas in coming years.

Initially everything was right he had simple and clear idea but something has drastically changed. After he discussed idea with his friends/family (including me) people gave him ideas, so many ideas, more then he needed.

Now his idea has become almost replica of Naukri.com + Indeed.com + Skillpages. Now I feel very bad about him, if he didn't go to everyone he must have completed his website long ago. Now he is on the trail of creating big job portal (In terms of long list of features) to fight with giants like Naukri.com, Monsterjobs.com, Indeed.com etc.

I would request every kid resting on bed looking towards ceiling and just get an idea, please don't go to everyone and share your idea. They will always come up what if you add this, and this, and this. Keep it close to your heart like you used to keep your piggy bank and make good use of it and then flaunt it with everybody what good have you done with that.

If you want to share it with someone, share with who really understand you, your idea or can help you in nurturing that idea in real meaning(not just asking you to add more and more features).

Trust your idea and judgement and surprise everyone.
