Please don't share your business idea with everyone, they may spoil it.

Thanks to "Social Network" movie based on Mark Zuckerberg, inspiring kids from India to create something cool and creative from there dorm room. I also have someone with similar kind of passion and idea in my family. He wants to start something by his own from his dorm room and initially he came up with good idea.

Starting a socially connected job + business partnership classified, where people can find jobs for themselves or join hands with dorm room Entrepreneurs who are working on some good idea which can be great ideas in coming years.

Initially everything was right he had simple and clear idea but something has drastically changed. After he discussed idea with his friends/family (including me) people gave him ideas, so many ideas, more then he needed.

Now his idea has become almost replica of Naukri.com + Indeed.com + Skillpages. Now I feel very bad about him, if he didn't go to everyone he must have completed his website long ago. Now he is on the trail of creating big job portal (In terms of long list of features) to fight with giants like Naukri.com, Monsterjobs.com, Indeed.com etc.

I would request every kid resting on bed looking towards ceiling and just get an idea, please don't go to everyone and share your idea. They will always come up what if you add this, and this, and this. Keep it close to your heart like you used to keep your piggy bank and make good use of it and then flaunt it with everybody what good have you done with that.

If you want to share it with someone, share with who really understand you, your idea or can help you in nurturing that idea in real meaning(not just asking you to add more and more features).

Trust your idea and judgement and surprise everyone.

How can you Find an Awesome Web Design Team?

We all know finding right web design team is touch challenge for every Entrepreneur. Your website represents your business and spreads words about your service or product so it is critical to choose right team.
Here awesome blog post written by Fresco Sites team to find awesome web designers quickly
How can you Find an Awesome Web Design Team?
How can one determine or find the quality of a product, say an iPhone or a wallet, or a BMW? Simple, you just pick it up and inspect the product or the stitching or just take it for a test drive. But, online businesses and products are different.
The last thing you want to do is spend your precious time and money in developing a website that is not only distasteful in design or usability – but really does nothing for your business.
Evaluating web design companies often involves assessing their portfolio, their cost, experience and references.
Here are a few additional tips on how you can find the best web design company – easily.
local-seo2
  • 1.      Perform a Local Search: Technology or not, nothing works like the good old local search. Keep an eye open for local establishments belonging to an industry similar to yours. Try tracking their online success and chances are that there is a company who has the magic key to success. You may also find references from friends and family who are running businesses in the same locality as yourself. A casual meet and greet may also put you right in front of a freelance designer or web design company who is actually really good at his or her work.
google-search
  • 2.      Google Search: “When in doubt, Google!” “Google-ing” as we all put it is evidently the new age mantra. This search engine giant is without doubt one of the most effective resources through which you will be able to find the designer of your dreams. By making relevant online searches you will be able to come across some highly talented web designers and companies that provide effective and affordable design services. Make it a point to go through their portfolio and their reviews that will be easily available through the search engine.

  • 3.     Hire on Elance or Odesk: If it is more personalized service that you want, consider logging on to Elance or Odesk to find some freelance web designers and developers. On these portals you can go through thousands of qualified professional profiles and select one that suits your budget and qualification requirement. You can also select professionals based on their feedback rating allowing you to make well informed hiring decisions.

  • 4.     Leveraging Craigslist: Craigslist is also a great resource to post job requirements and find other people who are willing to offer to you their design services. With a very well geographically segregated database, it is rather simple to get in touch with designers working in and around your business.

  • 5.     Dribble/Smashingmagazin: If you are looking for companies or freelancers who are extremely design focused and your idea needs so much design creativity then go for dribble.com or smashingmagazine.com there you can find bunch of very good web designers free or by spending some dollars.

References-image

  • 6.        Ask for References: So once you have drilled down the choices and have bunch of companies or designer in hand to work on your project ask them for references. Most web design firms will give you references if you make a request. However, chances are that most of the references they provide will have only good things to say about their business. The key to shortlist those references that have continued working with them for more over a year. This is a good indication that the design firm has been able to positively influence the business.
Not the least, you can always combine one of more methods of hiring a design company to make sure you have the back-up of reliable references and recommendations from people you know.

Request to Entrepreneurs

I have started my journey of being Entrepreneur and loving each up and down, as all of us do. These days I am meeting so many people each day and learning so much from them which making me feel confident each passing day. I met with some people who also like to start their business but feeling confused how to move forward, this inspired me to do something for all of us.

I have created a Facebok fan page (Click Me) where I'll share about technology, environment and entrepreneurs as well members can discuss and share their experiences as well what they have learnt.

Here I am especially focused to small business and their stories which I can share with my community and help us to learn and move forward.

I am requesting you to share your stories with us by sending your stories at hi@cgcolors.com or send message on our our Facebook Fan page.

Thanks

Life after quieting the job

As I was planning to leave the job from last 6 or more months and finally I did on 7th Oct. Idea of leaving job and start something on my own always excited me and motivated me :), I was so happy, self-motivated, energetic and full of positive vibes that day and now it's been 24th days as being self employed and things has been changed.

1.           Now I am feeling what exactly job matters for middle class person..

2.           Thought of working hours 10:00 to 7:00 have been evaporated from my mind.

3.           Now 5th of every month will not excite me anymore as this is not my salary day.

4.           My colleagues and close friend don't have much time as they have time limits and I don't. I am free to work when I want and stop whenever I want (It's partially true as all of us have a word called "Deadline" to finish up work ;) )

5.          Wait for Friday has became more then ever for me and when it comes I found that I'll have to complete everything on weekend and surprise my clients by delivering what they want before time.

6.           My friends think that I have made so much money in only 23 days more then they can make in 3-4 months ;) ---- truth I borrowed money from my family to run my small initiative.

7.          I figured out watching inspiring movies, videos and books only excite me for 1 or 2 days and only thing which can excite and motivate me is only mine tiny success.

8.         Feeling more confident as I am putting my blood and sweat efforts to ground up my initiative.

This is what I have been experiencing these days and understood very well that raising a business is like raising a child

I am enough responsible, don't give me more responsbility

Best of my reason not to start taking the responsibility of something more:

1.      I don't have sufficient knowledge of take more responsibilities.

2.      Why should I take complete risk in-fact so many people are available to share the responsibly with me.

3.      What will happen if I successfully fulfill my responsibilities, do they give me credit?

4.      What will happen if I can't successful, do they fire me or insult me for under-performance?

5.      Fulfilling the responsibility needs time and passion I neither have time and nor passion for it that's why I don't want to take responsibility.

6.      I am loosely dead of being responsible of --- Bad marks, Not enough salary, Away from responsibility of being good son, not being complete social person, atheist, rude, stub-burn attitude etc....I am solely responsible of all these I don't want more responsibility...Responsibilities REALLY SUCKS.

I don't know why people think I should be responsible for something more, it's my life let me choose my responsibilities, nurture them.

I am responsible of my life-- my future, my present and my past, I am enough responsible and answerable to myself. Don't force me to take over more responsibilities...

Free resources for Entrepreneurs and Marketers

Whenever you are in initial stage of Entrepreneurship or Good Marketer, we all first focus on free resources so I thought to bring some of my best pick free resources which I use in my day to day life.

1.    Survey Monkey

I love survey monkey, it is exceptionally good platform to create your survey and share with your prospect/client etc. You can use that service to create a survey of 10 questions absolutely free but if you think 10 questions aren't enough, you can purchase the paid membership plans too.

I personally share with my every client who is going to indulge in any business in order to do the market research.

Elance and Odesk are two most popular destination to find the web/graphic/sales/accounting professional at very competitive price. As living in internet and fast paced world it is necessary to become fast and even faster but if your system is not fast enough you can't be fast enough.
